Due to the
Covid-19 Pandemic Club meetings are suspended.
The Club now meets on air every Saturday night about 8'oc.

Non members are
welcome to join the net.
The North
Dublin Radio Club was founded in 1973 as the north city
developed and expanded. The first meeting place or "radio
shack" was at the back of the Esso Service Station at the
Artane Roundabout. In later years the Club met in the
premises of the Irish Wheelchair Association Clontarf.
From 1992 the Club met in Chanel College.
We hope to meet again soon in the Artane
Beaumont Recreation Centre Artane.
Morse and radio
theory courses may be available for members, and newcomers,
wishing to obtain a Amateur Radio License.
Information on
theory course is available from
IRTS.
Morse is no longer a requirement to access HF (short wave) bands as of 2003.
The IRTS radio news
is transmitted on Sundays at 11:45 for the Dublin area on
145.525MHz
Anyone interested in Amateur radio may apply for membership.
An amateur radio license is not required for membership.

The Club is affiliated to The Irish Radio Transmitters Society (IRTS) which is the national society of Radio Experimenters / Amateurs in Ireland and the member society for Ireland of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU).
